Q: What is your name and major?
A: I’m Mitch Augenstein. I’m an Education major at The University of Findlay.Q: What is something hands-on you’ve been able to do at Findlay?
The University of Findlay has allowed me to go into the classroom and experience unique opportunities with students, whether that be as a reading partner, teaching a lesson or observing a teacher.

Q: Name a professor that has changed your world and inspired you.
Dr. Forget has inspired me because she is a professor who loves education more than anyone I have ever met. She has a heart and a passion that is so real and vivid that it makes you excited to learn.

Q: What’s the best part about being an education student?
I love being an education major, because we are all family. The door is open, and the professors truly care for their students.

Q: What is one thing that you love to do on campus?
I love to compete in intramurals. I am competitive, so any sport – dodge ball, volleyball, basketball – I love it!

Q: Do you have advice for students making their college decision?
My advice is to truly choose a place that feels like a second home. The University of Findlay offers an experience that most colleges don’t.
